The Auction Company of Wilmington offers two opportunities for those who are unable to attend our auctions



Absentee Bidding

If you wish to place an absentee bid, you should print and complete our Absentee Bid Form indicating your maximum bid on each item, excluding the 13% buyer's premium. You can return this form to us by fax or regular mail. Please allow 3-6 working days for surface mail. Be sure to sign the form at the bottom. We require a MasterCard or VISA number to secure your absentee bid.

Absentee bids left with us are executed confidentially and competitively. If your maximum bid is $500 and the bidding stops at $200, the lower price is the selling price to you. However, you must be prepared to go as high as your maximum bid. A member of our staff sits at a table with a bid card and bids on your behalf as though you were sitting in the gallery. We never disclose to anyone any information about absentee bids.
