President's Day Weekend Sale

Preview Friday, February 17th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
and Saturday, February 18th from 8:00 a.m. until auction time.

Due to location and parking, we have had to move the contents of this estate to our auction house located at 24-B Station Road, Wilmington, North Carolina. This house had 14+ rooms and was completely full from top to bottom. It has taken us two weeks to move. We are unable to give a complete listing of items but will list as much as possible. Auction starts at 9:00 a.m. with box lots and other miscellaneous items including fixer-upper furniture and outside furniture in our warehouse (located next to our auction house & standing room only) and will resume auctioning in the auction house by 10:00 a.m. beginning with smalls and combining furniture by 10:30 a.m. Below is a very partial listing:

RARE AND HARD TO FIND: No. 16 Enterprise coffee grinder standing approx. 5' 6" tall with double wheel and eagle on top of lip. Base is also cast iron with ornate pattern.

POTTERY: Several great pieces of North Carolina pottery.

FURNITURE: Ca. 1760s mahogany table with pad feet, Ca. 1790s tilt top table, 4 or 5 early North Carolina work/farm tables, mahogany Sheraton sideboard, Ca. 1840s cherry and pine canopy bed (queen), round walnut table with built-in Lazy Susan, oak bow front china cabinet, oak high back bed, Ca. 1840s Empire chest, Victorian loveseat, early 2-drawer library table, oak washstand, 3-piece 1920s cane back sofa, chair and rocker, two walnut sofa tables, large 2-door wardrobe, 1960s modern chair with ottoman (Herman Miller??), 1950s green enamel top table, 1930s walnut china cabinet, Ca. 1870s ball & stick easel, ball & stick screen, frame and mirror, 2 early chairs (Ca. late 1700s), 1930s oak buffet, early blanket chest, benches, lots of fixer-up pieces and many quality pieces of furniture great for painting!!!!

SMALLS AND COLLECTIBLES: Many nice early mirrors, oil lamps, two slag glass lamps, head vases, cookie jars, crocks, over 100 pieces of McCoy, Hull, Shawnee, and other miscellaneous pottery, lots of Carnival glass, Watt pottery, country store cracker jars, depression glass (pink, green, yellow), Fenton glass, Wallace Nutting print, many pieces of old cast iron, Wilmington milk bottles, Jadeite, many lamps, shades, and parts, oriental vases, baskets, pipes, old toys, vintage linens …

LATE ARRIVALS: Ca. 1820s Butler’s desk/chest (southern, possibly Wilmington, NC) 1840s Chestnut corner cupboard, pier mirror, cherry Empire chest, nice early bin, duck decoy, and more pottery …
